Common problems of ebike.
Problem 1: Unstable display of battery level, repeated flashing and jumping
Solution:
First, check the battery connector and discharge cable for damage, scorching, or looseness. If any issues are found, repair or replace the corresponding parts promptly.
If the connectors and cables are in normal condition, the problem is most likely a faulty controller, which needs to be replaced.
Problem 2: Saddle slides down while riding
Solution:
The main cause is usually an unlocked seatpost clamp. Tighten the seatpost clamp fixing screws with a T30 Torx wrench.
Note: The seatpost clamp lever must be opened first before adjusting the screws to avoid damaging components.

Problem 3: Rubbing noise from brakes while riding
Solution:
It is most likely due to misalignment between the brake pads and the brake disc, causing friction-induced noise. Adjust the brake position to ensure the brake disc is centered between the two brake pads with a gap to prevent contact.

If the noise persists after adjustment, the brake disc may be warped and needs replacement.
Problem 4: Brake squeal (sharp metallic noise only when braking)
Solution:
This is usually caused by oil contamination on the brake disc or worn brake pads. Clean the oil from the brake disc with an oil-based cleaner. If the noise persists after cleaning, replace both the brake pads and the disc.
Problem 5: Display fails to turn on
Solution:
Check if the battery is turned on and ensure it has sufficient charge.
Inspect the battery connection cables and display connector for looseness or damage; reinsert the connections and test.
Check if the discharge cable between the controller and battery is loose. Refer to the video for auxiliary inspection: https://youtu.be/VI0cZemEszA
If all connections are normal, the display may be faulty and needs to be replaced for testing.
