How does the bike work in low temperatures?

The normal working temperature of lithium batteries is between -20 ℃ and 60 ℃, but generally, when it is below 0 ℃, the performance of lithium batteries will decrease, and the discharge capacity will correspondingly decrease. Therefore, the working temperature of lithium batteries with complete performance is usually 0~40 ℃. The e-bikes can still work in low temperatures, but may not be as smooth as the normal temperature.

 

Batteries drain more quickly in cold weather. When possible, we suggest taking your bike battery inside with you. It’s worth noting that lithium-ion bike batteries such as the one mounted on your ADO E-bike won’t turn on when the temps dip below -10 °C, and won’t charge below 0 °C.
