Common problems of ebike.
Q1: Display fails to turn on
Solution:
Check if the waterproof cable connector connecting the controller to the display is loose. Locate the waterproof cable connector at the frame folding joint with reference to the video. Instruction video: https://youtu.be/Apo-TSIj42w
If the display still doesn’t turn on after the waterproof cable is properly connected, check whether the power cord plug at the back of the battery is correctly connected, and if there is any damage or looseness to the plug.
If the power plug is in good condition and properly connected but the display still won’t turn on, replace it with a new display for testing.
Q2: Display turns off automatically (pops up a blue prompt and shuts down after being turned on)
Solution: This may be due to the remote lock function of the bicycle being enabled on the APP. Reconnect to the bicycle using the ADO EBIKE APP, enable the remote lock function, and then unlock it— the display will resume normal operation.
